Our newbuilding program has reached a significant milestone as we celebrate the commencement of production for the third vessel, Terramar. The steel cutting ceremony, a traditional event in shipbuilding, took place on 29 June. With three out of the six vessels now under construction, we are making great progress towards our goal of modernising European short sea shipping.
Now that Electramar has been successfully launched, Stellamar will be moved to the slipway to continue its construction. In July, we will begin the process of welding forward and aft sections together, bringing Stellamar closer to completion.
Meanwhile, the keel of the second vessel, Aquamar, was laid on 28 April, and the work has been progressing steadily with block assembly. Each step brings us one step closer to adding another remarkable vessel to our fleet.
The first vessel of Green Coaster Shipping, Stellamar, is expected to be delivered by the end of the year.
We are proud of the progress we have made so far and look forward to witnessing the completion of these exceptional vessels. Stay tuned for more updates on our journey towards excellence in maritime transportation.
